Membership

New members are always welcome. The Friends of the Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch,Jr. Library is a nonprofit group whose purpose is to support the Library through volunteerism, fundraising activities, and sponsorship of programs and services. Friends membership offers you the opportunity to share thoughts, donate your time or lend your talent.

The Friends meet the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00PM in the Halle Meeting Room located at the Library. if you would like to join the Friends you can pick up an application from the Library Information Desk The annual membership fee is $10.00.

Fundraisers

The Friends have joined the celebration honoring the 100th anniversary of the Collierville High School. Handsome wooden reproductions of the original high school are available for $15. This is the first collectible in a series of three Collierville landmarks. Reproductions of the Town Square and the Train Depot are also available for $20 each. The back of each piece features a brief description of the building or site. Proceeds from the sale of these reproductions directly benefit the Library's programs and services. The collectibles may be purchased at the Brooks Collection and the Friends Again Bookstore. The Friends Again Bookstore is open in the Library foyer Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-5pm. The store's phone number is 457-2606.

Book Sales

Spring Book Sale

The Spring 2010 book sale will be held Friday and Saturday, April 9th & 10th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in the Collierville Burch Library. Members' night is Thursday April 8th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Fall Book Sale

The Fall 2010 book sale will be held Friday and Saturday, October 8th & 9th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in the Collierville Burch Library. Members' night is Thursday October 7th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Donations

The Friends of the Collierville Burch Library are pleased to accept new and gently used books. Donations are added to the collection or used by the Friends to raise funds for library needs. Donations are accepted during all regular business hours.

The Library can provide you with a Gift Form acknowledging your generous cash or book donation. This form can be used for tax purposes, but the library cannot assign a monetary value to your book donation.
