Requires ability to deliver outstanding customer service, work as a positive contributing team member, & ability to use sound judgment to make decisions. Specific duties include acting as a liaison with the Town Technology Department, interlibrary loan, & adult programming.

Summer Reading Program News
The Library's Summer Reading Program has begun, but it's not too late to join. Readers as well as "listeners" may sign up any time the library is open -- until July 31st. The Library has three separate age specific reading programs.
"Be a Reader!" is the theme for the reading program for children ages 11 and under. Readers as well as "listeners" are encouraged to participate. Click the Additional Summer Reading Information link below for more information about the "Be a Reader!" reading program. The library also offers activity programs for children. A list of these programs may be found by clicking on the Children's Activity Program Brochure link.
For students entering grades 6-12 we have a young adult reading program. This year the theme is "Dive into a Book." Click on the Young Adult Program Brochure link below for more information about this reading incentive program.

NoveList,an electronic database at the Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library, can help you find your next book to read. This database of over 125,000 fiction titles for readers of all ages lets you use your favorite author to link to other books you might enjoy.
Author Read-alikes list the appeal factors of your favorite authors and suggest other authors or titles that are similar. “What We’re Reading” lists the current titles being read by nationally-known fiction experts.
“Describe a Plot” lets you enter your own words and then looks for books that you will enjoy.
