Billy Patton is currently serving his first term as Alderman.  He has been actively involved in the community having served on the Collierville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, The Town of Collierville Beer Board, and also on BancorpSouth's Community Bank Board. 

He completed an apprenticeship under the U.S. Navy and Ingalls Shipbuilding, afterwards obtaining both a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering from The University of Mississippi.  Hired by FedEx out of Ole Miss he was assigned to the World Tech Center in Collierville in 1999.  He founded his own company Patton Computers in 2002, and left FedEx in 2007 to dedicate more time to his business.  He actively supports Collierville High School Athletics, and various Collierville charities. He is also a 2008 graduate of Leadership Collierville.

Billy and his family live in the Longwood subdivision and he is an active member of The Pentecostal Church of Memphis.  Graduates of The University of Mississippi, Billy and and his wife Dr. Amy Patton (Pharm.D.) have two children, Emily and William Patton who attend Crosswind Elementary School.
